AshMotors has officially opened in Tema, and what an explosive way to announce its presence on the scene! Make no mistake, this wasn’t just a simple ribbon-cutting ceremony or another garage trying to make headlines, this was a full-blown statement – a celebration of Ghana’s fast-rising car culture, a show of strength from our tight-knit community, and a loud, proud acknowledgment of just how far we’ve come.
The man behind it all? None other than Lloyd Ashiley — a name synonymous with passion, consistency, and leadership within Ghana’s motoring space.
Lloyd isn’t just the CEO of AshMotors; he’s a pillar in the local automotive world. From spearheading industry excellence to serving as the President of BMW Club Ghana — one of the most electrifying and well-organized car clubs in the entire West African hemisphere — his impact has been nothing short of transformative.

His dedication runs deeper than just business. He’s orchestrated more than three editions of the iconic Launch Control event, putting a spotlight not just on power and performance, but also on safety, responsibility, and education. Lloyd’s advocacy for safer driving practices — especially among Ghana’s younger drivers — has made him a trusted voice both on and off the tarmac.

So when someone like him opens a performance shop, it’s not just an achievement — it’s a victory for the entire Ghanaian car community. This is one of our own: a driver, a leader, a brother, building something we can all be proud of.
And judging by the machinery that showed up for the grand opening, it’s clear the entire scene rallied behind this moment. The event looked like a dream — literally. Parked with reverence was the legendary BMW E34 M5 Touring, a unicorn in our part of the world and arguably one of the rarest cars in Ghana. Then came the blistering Sub-10 Tial McLaren 720S, a true monster whose presence alone turns heads and raises pulses — especially with its butterfly doors.
Alongside it stood a menacing GT63S, the kind of car that speaks fluent aggression and elegance. The show didn’t stop there — the BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé was present, flanked by not one but two BMW F90 M5s, and a stunning yellow Mercedes-Benz SL 55 that caught every eye.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get more intense, in rolled the brutal Sub-10 Tial Porsche 911 Turbo S, a car that commands respect. Lurking in the shadows was “John Wick,” the sinister BMW 540i. And these were just some of the highlights — there were countless other beasts in attendance, each representing the passion and pride that defines our community.

This gathering didn’t just showcase expensive cars — it represented something much deeper: unity. It showed the unwavering support we have for one another, how far we’re willing to go to uplift our own, and how alive the car culture in Ghana truly is.
When you looked around at the event, you didn’t just see horsepower — you saw brotherhood, shared dreams, late-night Mexico stories, and a mutual love for cars in general.

AshMotors is more than a workshop. It’s a beacon for enthusiasts. A symbol that says,
“Yes, we can build, we can create, we can innovate — right here in Ghana.”
So here’s to Lloyd Ashiley, and the road ahead.
