Airtime looting subscriptions are typically defined as unauthorized subscriptions that take airtime or data from a user’s account without their knowledge or permission. For example, you may discover that your airtime balance is strangely falling even while you are not making calls or using data. Here are very simple steps you can follow to unsubscribe from any unauthorized subscriptions from any of the network service providers in Ghana
Telecel
1. Dial *463# and Send
2. Select ‘My Subscriptions’
3. Select ‘View Subscriptions’
4. Out of the list of subscriptions you see, select 1 and send
5. You will see ‘Check Price’ and ‘Unsubscribe’
6. Select ‘Unsubscribe’ and follow the prompts
MTN
1. Dial *175# and Send
2. Select ‘My Subscriptions’
3. You will see the list of subscriptions and an option that says ‘Unsubscribe All’
4. If you want to unsubscribe from all, select the option. Otherwise, you select the one you want to unsubscribe and follow the prompts. Then repeat the process for each of them.
Airtel Tigo
1. Dial *100# and Send
2. Selection ‘Content Manager’
3. Select Deactivate Subscriptions
4. It will take you to the hidden Subscriptions, and then you select the one you want to deactivate and follow the prompts
