A vehicle owner can get a vehicle license after registering their vehicle with the Driver and Vehicle License Authority. AT the DVLA office, vehicles can be registered by a car owner or by an authorized agent.

Your proof of ownership attests to your legitimacy to your car as its owner, and it’s an important document you need to have. If you want to change the ownership of your car as well, this change of ownership can be done at the DVLA office.

Roadworthiness certificate

A roadworthiness certificate is issued after a thorough inspection of a vehicle, either at the DVLA office or the Ministry of Transport office in Ghana. The inspection requires the car to be functioning properly, with all brakes and other parts functioning appropriately.
