Experts say that younger buyers are no longer excited by older, expensive-to-maintain cars due to inflation and high repair costs.
According to GOBankingRates, here are five popular classics expected to see a sharp drop in price in the next few months.
1. Ferrari 308 / 328 (1975–1989)
The Ferrari 308/328 were once the dream cars of the 1980s, even featured in TV shows like Magnum P.I. But these days, many car lovers are moving on to newer models like the Ferrari F355.
According to car expert Lauren Fix, prices for the Ferrari 308 are expected to drop from around $100,000 to as low as $45,000. That’s a big drop. If you’ve been dreaming of owning a Ferrari, this might be your chance to buy one at a better price.
2. Aston Martin DB4/DB5/DB6 (1958–1970)
These classic British cars, especially the DB5 (made famous by James Bond), were once considered some of the most elegant cars ever made. But they’re expensive to fix and hard to maintain.
These days, fewer young collectors want to deal with that. So prices are dropping — unless you’re selling a perfectly restored, rare version. If you love British luxury, this might be a once-in-a-decade chance to grab one for less than usual.
3. Chevrolet Corvette C3 (1968–1982)

5. Porsche 911 (Air-Cooled, 1964–1989)
The air-cooled Porsche 911 is a legend. But even legends go out of fashion — at least for a while. Newer water-cooled versions are getting more love because they’re easier to manage and offer more features.
Experts expect older, regular-condition 911s to fall from $70,000 (₵1 million+) to as low as $35,000. If you’re a Porsche fan, that’s a huge deal. Just make sure you understand the repair costs before jumping in.
