Cadillac has raised the bar with the 2026 Escalade IQL, an all-electric SUV that measures an impressive 228.5 inches long, making it the longest SUV ever built in the United States. This length surpasses that of the gas-powered Escalade ESV and provides the Escalade IQL with significantly more interior space. Passengers in the third row enjoy ample space, with 36.7 inches of legroom and 38.2 inches of headroom, allowing even taller individuals to ride comfortably. Plus, when the third row is folded down, there’s a massive 75.4 cubic feet of cargo space perfect for packing everything you need for family trips or large shopping hauls.

Under the hood, the Escalade IQL is powered by a strong 205 kWh Ultium battery, which lets you drive about 460 miles on a full charge. That means fewer stops to recharge, giving you more freedom to enjoy the drive. The SUV has two electric motors working together with all-wheel drive, delivering an impressive 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in its fastest mode, called Velocity Max. This power lets the big vehicle accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than five seconds, a surprising speed for such a large SUV. Thanks to its 800-volt system, it can also charge super fast, adding about 116 miles of range in just 10 minutes when plugged into a fast charger.

Inside the cabin, the Escalade IQL feels very fancy and modern. A huge 55-inch curved OLED screen stretches across the dashboard, showing all the important driving information and entertainment options in one easy-to-use display. If you want to make rides even better, there’s an Executive Second-Row package you can add. It includes 12.6-inch screens for passengers, massaging seats, and a 40-speaker AKG sound system for amazing music. The SUV also features Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free driving technology that works on certain highways, making long drives safer and more relaxing.

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL is more than just a big SUV; it’s a clear sign of the future where size, power, luxury, and electric technology come together. Cadillac proves that going electric doesn’t mean you have to give up space, speed, or style. Instead, this SUV raises the bar, setting a new standard for luxury electric SUVs everywhere.
