Land Rover has just revealed something truly special: the Classic Defender V8 by Works Bespoke. It’s the perfect mix of old-school charm and modern power, bringing back memories of the legendary Defender while pushing it into a whole new era. This new version starts with Defenders built between 2012 and 2016, which are carefully taken apart and rebuilt by Land Rover Classic experts in the UK. They make sure every single part feels both authentic and fresh, staying true to the original spirit but giving it a serious upgrade.

The real excitement is under the hood. Land Rover has fitted a mighty 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 405 horsepower and 515 Nm of torque. It’s matched with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive system, making it incredibly powerful yet smooth to drive. This Defender can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds, which is seriously fast for a car that was originally built for the military, to climb mountains and tackle serious offroad terrain.

On the outside, owners can choose from a wide range of paint finishes, including Heritage, Contemporary, Premium, and even high-end SV Metallic options. You can also add extras like roof racks, upgraded grilles, special wheels, and LED lights to make it even more unique. Inside, the Defender gets a complete makeover with luxury leather seats available in many colors, a modern touchscreen system with navigation, digital radio, and Bluetooth, all while maintaining that rugged, familiar Defender feel that fans have always loved.

The pricing reflects the special nature of this project. The Classic Defender V8 starts at £190,000. If you want the slightly larger five-seat 110, it starts at £199,000, and the biggest seven-seat 110 version will cost you around £204,000. It’s definitely a serious investment, but for true Defender fans, it’s a dream come true.

There’s no doubt that this release has made the Land Rover community feel nostalgic and proud. It reminds everyone where the brand came from; a rugged and adventurous root. With the Classic Defender V8 by Works Bespoke Land Rover isn’t just looking back, they’re proving that legends can evolve and get even better.
