Former Nigerian Senator and socialite, Dino Melaye, has reportedly been involved in a serious road accident that left one of his multi-million naira Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon severely damaged.

Viral videos have surfaced across X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook showing the high-end SUV in a wrecked state, igniting widespread public concern and intense speculation about the cause of the crash.

In one of the circulating clips, a close associate of the senator, identified as Emmanuel, confirmed that the vehicle belonged to Melaye. According to him, they were en route to the airport when the accident occurred. Fortunately, no lives were lost, and there were no serious injuries reported.

As of now, details about Dino Melaye’s condition remain undisclosed, though the incident has quickly become a trending topic on Nigerian social media.

This isn’t the first time Melaye’s G-Wagon has made headlines. Known for his flamboyant lifestyle and deep love for luxury automobiles, Dino has amassed one of the most enviable car collections among Nigerian public figures. His garage reportedly includes a wide range of exotic and vintage cars such as Rolls-Royce Phantoms, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, a Bugatti Veyron, and multiple G-Wagons.

The vehicle involved in Senator Dino Melaye’s recent accident is believed to be a custom-built, bulletproof version of the Mercedes-AMG G63, one of the most powerful and luxurious SUVs in the world. Widely recognized for its rugged boxy design and brute-force performance, the G63 is no ordinary luxury vehicle—it’s a symbol of power, wealth, and security.

Melaye’s specific version was reportedly modified by high-end armoring specialists like INKAS or similar outfits, transforming the already elite G-Wagon into a stretched limousine fortified with military-grade armor.

Melaye has never shied away from showing off his collection, often posting photos and videos online showcasing his lavish rides. In interviews, he has stated that collecting cars is a personal passion, not just a display of wealth. With an estimated 15 or more exotic vehicles, his fleet is thought to be worth billions of naira.
