Burna Boy now owns one of 15 McLaren Senna Carbon Fiber cars in the world

While many Nigerian celebrities recently flooded headlines with video clips and photos unveiling their Tesla Cybertrucks, afrobeats superstar and Grammy winner, Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, added a rare gem to his luxury car collection, a McLaren Senna Carbon Fiber Edition, reportedly worth around $2 million, when everyone else was racing to hop on the Elon Musk hype train, the African Giant took a different route- a faster, rarer, and much louder one. What makes this car stand out even more is the fact that it’s one of only 15 ever made in the world.

The McLaren Senna is already known for its extreme performance and design, but the Carbon Fiber Edition takes it to another level. It features a fully exposed carbon fiber body, a lightweight structure, and Formula 1-inspired aerodynamics — built not just to turn heads, but to dominate the track.

Named after the legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna, the hypercar packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 800 horsepower, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds.

Burna Boy, who is no stranger to fast cars and bold fashion, had earlier added a Tesla Cybertruck to his garage, joining the likes of Timaya, Davido, Omah Lay, Asake, Buju (BNXN), and Joeboy, among others, who’ve been busy showcasing their Tesla Cybertrucks. But while others rushed into the Tesla trend, Burna quietly one-upped everyone with a hypercar that blends speed, rarity, and quiet dominance.

According to viral clips on Instagram, including one from Unorthodox Reviews, Burna Boy didn’t waste a moment after delivery. He took his new ride out for a spin, gliding the Senna through the city streets of Lagos in a silent yet powerful flex.

Another post by HipTv confirmed the car’s arrival in Nigeria, valuing it at a cool ₦3.5 billion—about $2 million.

Burna Boy’s new ride has been flooded with mixed reactions from fans and Nigerians. Some congratulated him while others called it a misplaced priority, adding that the car has no value where it finds itself.
