Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist, Ibrahim Mahama, has again, subtly, reminded Ghanaians of his love for cars. He is the brother of the president John Dramani Mahama and founder of Engineers and Planners, the largest indigenous-owned mining company in West Africa, and the owner of several other businesses in Ghana.

Ibrahim Mahama is one of the affluent Ghanaians known for his fleet of cars, which he usually takes for a spin once in a while, like he did over the weekend with his red Lamborghini Aventador SV, clearly enjoying the cruise while driving at top speed. He shared a video of his adventure on social media, with the caption, “Who is brave enough to be in the passenger seat?” This post generated a buzz of reactions among his followers, with some praising his wealth and skills, while others humorously urged him to slow down.
About the Lamborghini Aventador SV
Lamborghini describes the Aventador Superveloce as “the most sports-oriented, fastest, and most emotional series-production Lamborghini ever.” The Aventador powertrain features a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 that develops 769 horsepower. The engine’s 531 pound-feet of torque makes its way to all four wheels via a seven-speed automated-manual transmission. With fuel-economy ratings in the single digits, the Aventador ranks among the least fuel-efficient cars. Lamborghini Aventador SV can catapult from zero to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, to 124 mph in 8.6 seconds, and to 186 in 24 seconds.

In typical Lamborghini fashion, every Aventador supports a set of scissor doors that swing open. The low-slung interior is showing its age, but it can be fitted with a variety of premium materials and personalized options. The cabin won’t hold many small items, and luggage space is limited. The dashboard features a digital gauge cluster that changes its layout whenever you select a new drive mode—Strada, Sport, and Corsa; Ego mode allows you to personalize the settings for powertrain, steering, and suspension.

The extravagant showcase of his sleek, opulent possession is a mark of his wealth and his appreciation of luxury. Ibrahim Mahama owns, among many others, a Brabus rocket 900, a Mercedes AMG S63, a G-Wagon, Mercedes Benz AMG C63 6×6, a Porsche 911 Turbo S, and many BMWs. In addition to the expensive cars, the wealthy businessman boasts an enviable fleet of private jets. He recently added a new aircraft to his collection. Ibrahim Mahama was recently spotted riding a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, which costs over GH¢400,000.
