Afrobeats singer and producer, Stanley Omah Didia, widely known as Omah Lay, has survived a ghastly car accident involving two of his newly acquired Tesla Cybertrucks.
The singer, who made headlines for acquiring two Tesla Cybertrucks last year, is in the news for a more serious reason. The accident reportedly occurred on the night of Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Adesope Olajide, known as ‘Shopsydoo’, a famous UK-based music executive, announced the unfortunate incident in an Instagram post on Saturday night.
Sharing the video, the music executive wrote “#omahlay Tesla truck, thank God for life. Thank God he is safe, we go buy two more once that album drops. More stories to tell”.
The unfortunate incident has sparked tension and concern among his fans and fellow Nigerians, who are eager to know if the singer is recovering, as no official statement has been released by him or his management.
While details of what led to the accident have not been provided, the speculated video suggests an unknown driver crashed into the singer.
