Toyota is gearing up to unveil its new RAV4 on May 21, 2025, which will bring a fresh look to its popular SUV. This model is set to have a stronger, tougher design, inspired by the Land Cruiser and featuring sharp hammerhead-style headlights like those on the Urban Cruiser and bZ4X.

Inside, the new RAV4 adopts a modernized cabin with higher-quality materials and a larger infotainment screen. Notably, it features ‘floating’ display units, differentiating it from the enclosed screens found in its Land Cruiser and Urban Cruiser counterparts.
While Toyota has yet to confirm the full range of powertrain options for the new RAV4, it’s anticipated that the plug-in hybrid variant will continue, possibly with enhancements in power and electric-only range. The current RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid delivers 302 horsepower and offers an estimated 42 miles of electric-only driving.

Toyota aims to boost RAV4 sales in the UK with this comprehensive update. Despite strong performance in other markets, the RAV4 sold approximately 6,100 units in the UK last year. The new model is expected to see a price increase from the current starting price of ÂŁ44,395, with sales likely commencing at the end of this year.
The full reveal of the 2025 Toyota RAV4 on May 21 is highly anticipated, as it promises to showcase the brand’s commitment to innovation and adaptation in the evolving SUV market.
