The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) has reportedly projected a slight decrease in the price of petrol, diesel, and LPG at the pump.
The organisation disclosed the projection in a press release. The projected reduction in petrol prices by 3.1%, diesel by 2.0%, and LPG by 2.0% reflects low international oil prices and the recent appreciation of the cedi against the dollar.
This is welcome news for car owners, transport operators, and households relying on LPG for cooking and heating.
The fluctuating prices of petrol, diesel, and LPG play a significant role in daily life. Whether it’s the cost of commuting to work, operating a transport business, or simply running errands, fuel prices directly impact household budgets and the overall cost of living.
However, the specific timeframe for when this projected reduction will take effect was not mentioned. Nonetheless, keeping an eye on fuel price trends and identifying the most affordable options can help manage expenses efficiently.
Recently, some filling stations like GOIL, Shell, TotalEnergies, among others, have significantly adjusted their petrol pump prices.
