Toyota has announced a bold new addition to the Toyota Camry lineup with the 2026 Nightshade Edition, which features Midnight Black Metallic exterior design elements, unique 19-inch wheels, and gloss black badging.
The new Nightshade Edition is available in White, Supersonic Red and Midnight Black Metallic and is accented with several Midnight Black Metallic parts, including the front grille, air curtains, side canards, door handles, mirror caps, shark fin antenna, rear lower sport diffuser, and rear spoiler. The badges are also finished in gloss black.
The Nightshade, like every other Camry, is powered by a hybrid technology that combines electric motors with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The Camry hybrid is available with either all-wheel drive, which increases output to 232 horsepower by installing a third e-motor, or front-wheel drive with two electric motors that provide up to 225 horsepower.
According to EPA estimates, the hybrid powertrain gets 53 mpg in the city and 50 mpg on the highway for FWD vehicles and 43 mpg on the highway for AWD variants.
The Nightshade Edition features a bigger front stabilizer bar and a sport-tuned suspension, just like the SE and XSE. Additionally, buyers will discover a well-known hybrid powertrain made up of a compact lithium-ion battery pack, an electric motor, and a 2.4-liter engine.
Toyota has yet to announce pricing for the 2026 Camry, including the Nightshade edition, but prices are expected to rise from the 2025 model’s $29,835 base price. The 2026 Camry is set to arrive at U.S. dealerships this summer and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
