Ferrari is set to unveil its first all-electric car, the electric Ferrari, on October 9, 2025, Reuters reports.

Ferrari’s new EV will be part of a total of six new models the company plans to launch this year, Ferrari boss Benedetto Vigna said.

Vigna has assured customers that the electric Ferrari would be just as dynamic and enjoyable as its combustion-engined stablemates, appealing to both loyal customers and a new, tech-savvy customer base.

In addition to the brand’s current lineup of gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles, the unnamed EV will be Ferrari’s first all-electric vehicle. Test vehicles with modified Maserati Levante bodywork have been spotted; this could be a hint at the upcoming electric Ferrari.

Known for its roaring petrol engines, Ferrari has been forced to join the world in its quest to reach net-zero emissions.

“This car will be 100% Ferrari,” Vigna stated earlier this year. “We are not rushing. We are redefining performance for the electric era.”

The electric Ferrari will be produced in the new ‘e-building’ at Ferrari’s campus in Maranello, Italy.

No technical information has been revealed, but Ferrari has asserted that its EV will not use a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery, which may not offer as much energy density as costlier alternatives like lithium-ion NMC batteries.

A report from Reuters suggests that the electric Ferrari could start at over 500,000 euros, around ÂŁ430,000, making it significantly more expensive than the Purosangue, which starts at around ÂŁ313,000.
